Judson Sherman

Judson L. Sherman 1920 - 2003 Judson "Judd" L. Sherman 83, of Westfield died Tuesday September 9, at his home. Judson was the owner of Judd's Home Insulation for 17 years, a business that he started in 1966. He also delivered Meals on Wheels in Westfield for 9 years. Born in Westfield on February 4, 1920 the son of the late Clarence and Mable (Nelson) Sherman. He resided in Chicopee for 11 years and in Westfield for the past 45 years. He was a communicant of St. George's Church, Chicopee. He served his country during W.W. II with the United States Navy attaining the rank of Seaman 1st Class. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Estelle (Couture) Sherman who died September 13, 1994 and a son Douglas Sherman who died October 5, 1993. He is survived by 4 children; Gilbert Sherman and his wife Teresa of Wilbraham, MA. Donna Neumann and her husband Barry of Veron, VT Dennis Sherman and his wife Sandy of Easthampton, MA Rochelle Settembre and her husband Gary of Westfield, MA A daughter in law; Debra Sherman of Holyoke, MA A brother; George Sherman and his wife Florence of Westfield, MA 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Judson's funeral will be Saturday morning 8:30 A.M. at Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway Chicopee followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. George's Church Belcher St. Chicopee.
