Alfonso J. Giordano1958-2013HOLYOKE- Alfonso J. Giordano, 55, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 12, 2013 in Holyoke Medical Center. He was born Springfield on May 13, 1958 a son of the late Giusseppe and Jane (Cannon) Giordano. Alfonso was employed at Goodyear Tire in Springfield. He was a member of H.O.G. and enjoyed bowling. Alfonso is survived by his three children, Tina Marie, Anthony M. and Dominic J. Giordano; four brothers, John G., James P., Mario A. and Frank M. Giordano; two sisters, Anna M. Carron and Lisa J. Byrd; an aunt, Carol Cocchi and her husband  Robert; two uncles, James Cannon and Mario Giordano; his best friend, Willie; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Alfonso was predeceased by a brother, Joseph N. Giordano. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Blvd, East Springfield. There are no calling hours.
