Alice L. Betie 1936-2011 CHICOPEE- Alice L. (Leonard) Betie, 75, a life long resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. She was born on June 9, 1936, a daughter of the late Ernest and Rose (Martin) Leonard. Alice is survived by her two children, Karen Ciecko and her husband Marc of Chicopee, and Kevin Betie and his wife Maryann of Indian Orchard; five grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler and Conner Ciecko, Gregory Betie and Thomas Finn English-Betie; a great-grandchild, Mason Senecal; six sisters, Cozette Turgeon, Doris Bernier, Carol Dryzgula, Lois White, Evelyn Blanchard, and Arline Blais; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Leonard, Earl Leonard, and Ernest Leonard Jr.; and three sisters, Jeanette Savage, Lorraine Rudat, and Joan Leonard. Alice was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church, Chicopee. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 10 a.m.  in the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., with Rites of Committal in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St., both in Chicopee. Alice's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering on Wednesday, June 15th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral Home.
