Alice Cannerella

Alice Cannarella 1921 - 2003 Alice (Szafran) Cannarella 82, of Oak Hills, CA and formerly of North Street Feeding Hills died Monday August 4, in St. Mary Regional Medical Center, Apple Valley, CA. Born in Granby on July 3, 1921 the daughter of the late John and Alice (Janek) Szafran she was a graduate of Chicopee High School and Baypath Institute. She was a resident of Oak Hills, CA and Feeding Hills and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Alice will be sadly missed, but her memory will live on. She was predeceased by her husband Santo ?Sam? Cannarella who died June of 1999, a son Toby Cannarella who died May of 1950, and a sister Mary Carnick who died December of 1992. Alice is survived by 3 sons; Wesley Cannarella and Eugene Cannarella both of Hesperia, CA, Santo Cannarella Jr. of Oak Hills, CA. 3 daughters; Louise Albrecht of Westfield, MA, Susan Cannarella of Temecula, CA., Jan Cannarella of Hayden, ID. 3 brothers; Julius Szafran of Longmeadow, MA, Frank Szafran  and Joe Szafran both Chicopee, MA 2 sisters; Wanda Chappell of Bethesda, MD, Rose Kosakowski of Easthampton, MA. 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Alice's funeral service and Santo's memorial service will be Saturday morning August 16, at11:00 A.M. at the Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway Chicopee. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee. Visiting Hours are Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one?s choice.
