Alice L. Rogers1926-2013CHICOPEE- Alice L. (Vick) Rogers, 86, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Wingate at South Hadley. She was born in Rennsaler, NY, on October 16, 1926 to the late Duford and Mary (Perrier) Vick. Alice worked at Dielectrics, Inc. of Chicopee and was a devout Catholic and attended St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee, where she was married to her husband Francis V. Rogers in 1943. They were together for 48 years before his passing in 1992. Her husband was severely wounded in WWII, therefore, she had the responsibility of working and raising her three children and care giving for many years. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Tara Lovesee of Gering, NE and Jody Binette of Daytona Beach, FL; three great grandchildren, Jordan, Bradley, and Nicole Lovesee; and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her longtime friend and confident Jules Boisvert and his family of Easthampton.  Along with her husband, Alice was predeceased by her son Steven F. Rogers, and her two daughters Doreen L. Jarvis and Cynthia A. Hartshorn. She will be remembered as a loving, loyal, and hardworking wife and mother. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd. Chicopee.
