Allen R. Geoffroy

Allen R. Geoffroy 1953-2014 Chicopee- Allen R. Geoffroy, 61, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at his home in Chicopee. Born in Springfield on April 10, 1953 he was a son of the late Alfred and Doris (Tougas) Geoffroy. Allen was a 1971 graduate from Chicopee Comp. High School and retired from Agway Distribution Center in the receiving department. He was on the board of directors for Chicopee Tiger's Athletic Club and was an avid Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots fan. Allen leaves his loving wife of 40 years, Maureen (Hurley) Geoffroy; his daughter, Jessica Geoffroy of Denver, CO; his son Jamie Geoffroy and his wife Jennifer of St. Louis, MO; three brothers, Donald, Dennis, and Richard Geoffroy; his grandson, Kellan Geoffroy; his brother-in-law, John Hurley and his wife Gail; his sister-in-law, Shirley Rullmann and her husband Keith; many nieces and nephews, and all his friends at the Tiger's A.C. He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Geoffroy and his mother-in-law, Alida Hurley. Services for Allen will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 starting at 10am at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, 319 Broadway. Rites of Committal will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Road, all in Chicopee. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 9th from 3-7pm.
