Andrew Kusey

Andrew P. Kusey 1939-2005 INDIAN ORCHARD- Andrew "Buddy" P. Kusey, 66, passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2005 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on March 23, 1939. Buddy was born and educated in Northampton, and retired as a welder in 1998 after 25 years of service at Dual/Berkline Manufacturing in Holyoke. He was an avid fisherman. Buddy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Alice M. (Nallett) Kusey of Indian Orchard, two sons, Richard R. Kusey of Springfield and Kevin P. Kusey of Chicopee, his granddaughter, Zoey Kusey, his mother, Eleanor P. (Williams) Pope of Chicopee, two brothers, Robert S. Pope, Jr. of Holyoke and Charles E. Pope of Chicopee, five sisters, Jacqueline Tanner and Gail Williams of Salisbury, MA, Susan Harris and Darcie Calise of Agawam, Donna Pope of Chicopee, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Robert S. Pope, Sr. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday October 3rd at 4:30 p.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Buddy?s family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 3-4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the N.Y. Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund, Attn: International Association of Firefighters, P.O. Box 65858, Washington, D.C. 20035-5858.
