Anita C. Picard

CHICOPEE-Anita C. Picard. 86, of Oakridge Street in the Willimansett section of Chicopee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2018, at a local nursing home.  Anita was born in Chicopee on June 15, 1931 the daughter of the late William and Helen (McManus) Piotte. She was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and was educated in local schools. Anita was an extremely passionate Homemaker, making her home the center of her life for her family and always providing for them. Her beloved husband, Eugena A. Picard passed away on October 20, 2015. She is survived by her three sons; Kenneth Picard and Edward Picard of Chicopee and Mark Picard of Florida and her dear grandson, Mark Picard Jr.  She also leaves her sisters-in law; Cecile Haley, Jeanette Hammel and Rita LaFlame and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee will be Monday afternoon from 4-6 p.m. A Prayer service will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 A.M. at Tylunas Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., Chicopee.
