Armand H. Mason

Armand H. Mason 1930-2004 Chicopee-Armand H. Mason 74 died in Baystate Medical Center Wednesday August 25, 2004. He was born in Chicopee and was the son of the late Abbott and Alda (Bienvenue) Mason. Armand was a life long resident of Chicopee where he attended local public schools. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was employed by various area trucking companies, retiring in 1995. He was a member St. George Church and the Teamsters Union Local 404. Armand drove school buses in his later years for the Chicopee Public School System.  He leaves three sons, Alan G., Michael J. and David P. Mason and his wife Wendy, a daughter Susan M. Sorci all of Chicopee. He also leaves a sister Loretta Decoteau of Springfield, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends may call at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee Today from 4-7:00 P.M. Family and friends will gather at the Funeral Home Saturday at 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. George Church, 7 Belcher St., Chicopee. Burial will follow in St. Rose De Lima Cemetery, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee.
