Barbara Ann Ladue

Barbara Ann Ladue 1941 -2010 Chicopee - Mrs. Barbara Ann (McCormick) Ladue, 69, a forty year Chicopee resident, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, September 25.  She was born in Boston on March 24, 1941, a daughter of the late William and Laura (Horton) McCormick and attended schools there.  She retired after twenty two years of service from Avery Dennison.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed travelling, cruises, Old Orchard Beach, Maine and fifteen trips to Disney World.  She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty one years, Arthur R. Ladue, three sons; Arthur J. Ladue of Chicopee, Michael D. Ladue of Ware, Dennis J. Ladue of Chicopee, and one daughter; Pamela Ladue-Mackenzie of Southbridge.  She will also be sadly missed by ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sister, Doris Mai in 2000.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29 at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee.  Her family will receive friends at the calling hours from 4 - 8pm.  A Service of Remembrance will take place at 7pm.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be directed to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01105.
