Barbara Lafreniere

Barbara LaFreniere 1911-2003 Chicopee- Barbara LaFreniere, 92, died Thursday November 13th at Birch Manor Nursing Home in Chicopee. Born in Springfield, she attended Chicopee High School, was employed at the former National Blank Book Manufacturing and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee. Barbara was predeceased in 1969 by her husband Alfred F. LaFreniere Sr., in 2002 her son Alfred F. LaFreniere Jr. She is survived by her sons Bruce J. LaFreniere and Robert R. LaFreniere and his wife Cathy both of Chicopee, a twin-sister Rae Zucchini of West Springfield, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Barbara's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Staff at Birch Manor Nursing Home for the care and love that they had given to Barbara and her family.
