Barbara Jean (Tully) Lamoureux 1929 - 2004 Chicopee - Barbara Jean (Tully) Lamoureux, 74, of Overlook Drive, Chicopee, Mass. beloved wife of 51 years to Alfred U. Lamoureux, died Thursday, June 3, 2004 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Mass, her loving family at her side. Barbara was born in Southbridge, Mass. On August 6, 1929, a daughter of the late Stuart M. and Irene (Loranger) Tully and had been a resident of Chicopee, over 50 years. She was a communicant of Holy Name Church, and was also a member of American Legion Women's Auxillary Post # 275, both Chicopee. Barbara was a loyal, and devoted "die hard" fan of the Boston Red Sox. Her greatest devotion was to her family, and the love she had for her husband, children, and grandchildren who will forever in their hearts cherish her memory, her husband, Alfred, of Chicopee whom she married on May 23,1953, a son Richard and his wife Donna Lamoureux of Deerfield Beach, Florida, 4 daughters Laurie and her husband Tony Ricardi of Belchertown, Mass., Ellen and her husband Tony Bussman of Granby, Connecticut Patricia and her husband Pedro Ortiz of Holyoke, Mass. Judith Mancini and her special companion Allen Tharp of Springfield 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her four dear brothers Stuart L. and his wife Beatrice Tully of Oxford, Mass., Richard J. and Margaret Tully of Charlton, Mass., Michael F. and his wife Gloria Tully of Quinebaug, Conn., John T. Tully of Provincetown, Mass, 2 dear sisters Beatrice A. Tully of Southbridge, Mass. Kathleen and her husband John Notis of Connecticut, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 7, 2004 at 11:30 A.M. in Holy Name Catholic Church, on South Street, Chicopee, Mass. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Committal services will follow in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, Connecticut 06450. Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, Mass. is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
