Berthe Bousquet Pisarek January 1913 - September 2011 CHICOPEE- Berthe Bousquet Pisarek, 98 of Chicopee, Ma passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 13 at Wingate in Hampden. The daughter of Raymond and Sarah Cormier, was born in Shediac New Brunswick, Canada on January 1, 1913. Berthe lived in Chicopee since 1922 and was a communicant of St. George Parish in Chicopee Falls until its closing then became a communicant of St. Rose de Lima in Aldenville. Over the years Berthe worked at F.W. Sickles, the Springfield Armory, and Chicopee Falls Bakery. She had a love for cooking, gardening, dancing, and most of all spending time with her family. Our family is truly blessed to have had such a wonderful and kind woman in our lives....we will miss her so much. Berthe was predeceased by her husband Raymond Bousquet of 23 years and Martin Pisarek of 29 years; three brothers, Reginald Cormier, Joseph Cormier, and Alfred Cormier; three sisters, Pauline Patterson, Lily Bousquet, and Leona Minnie; and a son Raymond Bousquet Jr. Berthe is survived by two sisters, Marguerite Paquette of Palmer and Dorothy Toper of Chicopee; two daughters, Janice Bridgman of Chicopee and Dorothy Walker of Melbourne Beach Florida; 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, September 17 at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St. in Chicopee from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a service to follow. Graveside service will be at St. Michaels Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Activity Department at Wingate at Hampden, 34 Main Street, Hampden, Ma 01036.
