Bertrice Baerman

Beatrice M. Baerman Chicopee- Beatrice M. (Bea)(Desmarais) Baerman, 72, died Tuesday April 22, 2003 in Baystate Medical Center with her loving and devoted daughter by her side. Born in Chicopee on May 11, 1930 the daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Helene M. (Paquette) Desmarais. A life long resident of Chicopee, Bea attended Chicopee schools and graduated from Chicopee High School and also attended a local business school. She was employed by Dr. Richard Kane as a medical secretary and office manager in Westfield, Ma until her retirement in 2001. Bea is survived by her daughter, Candace (Perry) Fitzek of Vernon, CT, one brother Henry Desmarais and his wife Helen of Easthampton, Ma and two sisters, Irene Boulanger and Henrietta Gregoire both of Chicopee and a niece Donna Lombard of Chicopee and several other nieces. Bea was predeceased by her second husband Charles G. Baerman. Memorial contributions can be made in Bea's memory to the American Lung Association of Western Massachusetts 393 Maple St. Springfield, Ma 01105.
