Blanche Gauthier

Blanche B. Gauthier 1909-2003 Chicopee- Blanche B. (Gauthier) Gauthier, 94, died Wednesday June 11th in a local nursing home. Born in Holyoke on March 28, 1909 the daughter of the late Alex and Lena (Lalumier) Gauthier. She was employed at the former Chicopee Undergarment and Steiger's Department Store and a past member of the Ladies of St. Anne's and the Adult Lounge Club. Blanche was predeceased by her husband Saul J. Gauthier in 1972, a son Richard Gauthier in 2001 and a brother Albert Gauthier. Blanche is survived by her two sons Donald Gauthier and his wife Mary, Robert Gauthier and his wife Mary Jane, a daughter-in-law Sandy Gauthier all of Chicopee, a sister Irene LeTellier of Holyoke, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will assemble Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway, Chicopee with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. George Church, Chicopee with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. Visiting hours will be this evening from 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Blanche's memory to St, George Church 202 East Main St. Chicopee, Ma 01020
