Born in Wiesbaden, Germany on June 3, 1949 he was the son of the late James and Christa (Ott) Thompson. Bruce leaves his wife, Roberta (Cyr) Thompson; his daughter Wendy Thompson; 2 granddaughters, Jessica Thompson and Jazlyn Burgos; two great grandchildren, Lily Suarez and Jesus Rivera Jr.; and his cousins, Steven, Peter, and John Waltermire.
