Casimir T. Pasierb

Casimir "Chick" Thomas Pasierb, 102, of Chicopee, passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at the Birch Gardens. Casimir was born in Wilbraham on February 20, 1914, the son of the late Thomas Pasierb and Victoria (Swiatek) Pasierb.  He worked as a machinist for Baush Machine Tool Company of Springfield for over 25 years and BF Perkins of Chicopee for 12 years. He was an avid golfer, a Red Sox fan and loved taking trips to the casino.  Casimir was communicant of St. Stanislaus Church in Chicopee. He is survived by his son Thomas Pasierb and his wife Jeanne of Lakeville, MA, a sister Josephine Lentowski, two grandchildren Michael Pasierb of Sanford, ME and Mark  and his wife Annie Pasierb and great grandson Davin of Portsmouth ,RI. Casimir was predeceased by his wife Helen Pasierb, and his sisters Frances Majka, Sophie Almeida, Anna Dargis, Helen Bieda and a brother John Pasierb. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 10 AM at TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME immediately followed by a prayer service at 11 AM. Burial will be held at the St. Stanislaus cemetery in Chicopee.
