Catherine M. Lafreniere

Catherine Mary (Judd) LaFreniere, 76, of Blanan Drive in Chicopee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at home with family at her side. Catherine was born in Holyoke, a daughter to the late James and Wanda (Slawski) Judd. She was raised and educated in South Hadley  attending local schools and graduated from South Hadley High School. Catherine married the Robert R. LaFreniere on August 7, 1965 at St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley and they enjoyed 55 years of love, memories and happiness together. She was a devoted communicant of the former St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee. Catherine loved spending time with her family, especially babysitting their many grandchildren. She enjoyed their family trips to Garnet Lake in Peru. She was sadly predeceased by her husband, Robert R. LaFreniere, her son, Bruce J. LaFreniere and a brother, James Judd.

She leaves her children; Michael LaFreniere of South Hadley, Melissa Laurin of Chicopee, Jennifer Burnett and her husband Stephen of Chicopee, Billy LaFreniere and his wife Christina and Ross LaFreniere of Chicopee. Her cherished grandchildren; Steven and his wife Nicole, Samual and Sarah Laurin, Zachary & Ariel LaFreniere, and Gehrig and Brady Burnett and a great grandson, Easton Berge. Her brother; William Judd and his wife Diane of South Hadley and several nieces and nephews.
