Cecile M. O'Donnell1922-2014Chicopee- Cecile M. (Moreau) O'Donnell, 92, of Chicopee passed away, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in New Market, New Hampshire on August 27, 1922 to the late Joseph and Lydia (Berard) Moreau and has lived in Chicopee, MA most of her life. Cecile was educated in local schools and worked at Uniroyal for 10 years and at Rexnord Inc. in Springfield for 30 years, retiring in 1985. Cecile was predeceased 10 days prior by her loving husband of 70 years, Raymond T. O'Donnell, Sr., on December 20th. She leaves her son Walter "Butch" O'Donnell and his wife Marilyn of Chicopee; daughter-in-law, Carol O'Donnell; two brothers, George Moreau and Joseph Moreau and his wife Irene; brother-in-law, Roland Cyr; four grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Kristen, and Kevin; four great grandchildren, Brandon, Curtis, Nathan, and Ashlynn; and several nieces and nephews. Cecile was also predeceased by her son, Raymond T. O'Donnell, Jr., six brothers, and two sisters. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 6-7pm at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Chicopee. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 10am in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St, Agawam.
