Christopher Michael Martin

SPRINGFIELD- Christopher M. Martin, 48, of Springfield passed away tragically on Saturday August 4, 2018 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Chris was born in Springfield on April 26, 1970 the son of Patricia (Wallace) Swiderski of Springfield and the late Norman Martin. He was raised and educated in Springfield and attended local schools. Chris worked a number of jobs over the years including painting and as a machine operator for several manufacturing companies.  He leaves his cherished children; son, Kyle Martin and daughter, Erin Martin of Springfield. His devoted mother; Patricia (Wallace) Martin Swiderski of Springfield. His siblings; Kenneth of Michigan, Richard of Westfield, Kathleen of Vermont, Kelly of Springfield, Susan of Philadelphia and Maria of Marlboro and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A private interment for Christopher with the Rites of Christian Burial will take place at St. Michaels Cemetery, 1600 State St., Springfield. Donations in Chris' memory may be made to Christ the King Church, 41 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA 01056 Tylunas Funeral Home of Chicopee has been entrusted with Chris' services.
