Claire A. Brennan 1931-2012 CHICOPEE - Claire A. Brennan, 81, of 651 Burnett Road, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Willimansett East Nursing Home. She was born in Chicopee on September 10, 1931 to the late Wilfred and Alice (Picard) Rivest. Claire was a communicant of the former St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed many activities but received the most enjoyment when she was spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Claire was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John F. Brennan on September 18, 2012; a daughter Lynne M. Brennan in 1992; a brother Arthur Rivest; and a sister Elaine Lakota. She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Menard and her husband Richard of Westmoreland, NH, and Kathy Austin and her husband Joe of Belchertown; two sons, Michael Brennan and his wife Bonnie of Granby, and Gary Brennan of Chicopee; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 beginning at 9:45 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., all in Chicopee.
