Clementine Daisy Butler

Clementine Daisy Butler 1919-2011 CHICOPEE - Clementine Daisy (Hackney) Butler, 91, of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 13, 2011.  Born in Chicopee and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Clementina (Allan) Hackney.  Daisy was a graduate of Chicopee High School, Class of 1937.  She was a retired bank teller for the former Valley Bank of Springfield.  She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Ludlow and was a former member of the Chicopee Falls Congregational Church.  Daisy was past president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Order of the Scottish Clan, Clan Bruce of Chicopee.  She was also a member of the Chicopee Senior Center.  Daisy was the wife of the late Harold E. Butler who passed in 1979.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Harold E. "Bud" Butler and his wife Karen of Chicopee, a daughter, Barbara A. Bolko and her husband Tom of Portsmouth, NH; five grandchildren, Pamela, Jill, Tom, Dave and Doug, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 12:30 p.m.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield.  The family will receive friends and relatives at a gathering at the Tylunas Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
