David Acevedo, III 1986-2011 SPRINGFIELD - David Acevedo, III, 24, of Springfield sadly departed from this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Born in Springfield and a life-long resident, he was the son of Janet Perez of Florida and the late David "PC" Acevedo, Jr. He was a graduate of Central High School and worked for C&S Wholesale and the Stavros Center for Independent Living. Besides his mother he is survived by a son, David Acevedo, IV and fiancé Latisha Krassler of Springfield, his grandparents Aletta and Ivor Santos who lovingly raised him of Indian Orchard, his grandfather, David Acevedo, Sr. of Westfield; grandmother Carmen Medina of Springfield, great grandmother Lenora DeBiew of Springfield, a brother Michael Acevedo of Springfield, his half-brothers, Maurice & Orlando of Springfield, half-sister Desirea of Springfield, his uncle Ector & aunt Marisal of Springfield, Ivor Santos, Jr. of Springfield, aunt Marie and uncle Mike Negron of Chicopee, Carmen Santos of Pittsfield, Cathy Kowalczyk of Springfield, several other aunts, uncles and cousins, godmother Tonia Lovely of Springfield, a dear friend Eric and family and many other friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at a gathering to be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
