David Reynold Rose

MONSON-David Reynold Rose, 63, of Monson passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. David was born in Springfield, a son of the late Smith and Marilyn (Silva) Rose. He was raised and educated in Springfield and attended local schools. David proudly served his country, enlisting in the US Air Force. He served as a Sergeant with the 1877th Communications Squad from 1976 to 1982. After returning home, David married Teresa Butler and they eventually settled in Monson.  David enjoyed working with his hands, especially woodworking. This led to a career as the owner of David Rose Wood Floor Specialists, a business that flourished under his expertise for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially gatherings, where he enjoyed being the BBQ guy. He practiced and taught Martial Arts and was a member of the International Kokondo Association. He was also a proud member of the Kansas City BBQ Society. He leaves his beloved wife of 38 years; Teresa (Butler) Rose. His loving siblings; Michael J. Rose and Mary A. Ludwin both of Springfield, Paul Berzenski of West Palm Beach, FLA. and Edward Berzenski of Port St. Lucy, FLA. as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

The family will gather to remember David on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at Tylunas Funeral & Cremation Center, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 11:45 A.M. followed by the United States Air Force Honors for David's service for his country. Interment of his ashes will be held at a later date.
