Debra A Sherrer

Debra A Sherrer 1954 - 2025 of Chicopee, passed away surrounded by her family on July 12, 2025. She was born in Springfield Mass, daughter of the late W.D. Sherrer and Annette (Rivet) Sherrer.
Debra earned a degree in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts followed by a MBA from Western New England University while she embarked on a career in banking. She held many titles at different banks over the years, with the most recent being a Credit Analyst at Chicopee Savings Bank. Debra enjoyed keeping her mind busy with math and crossword puzzles, and loved all types of music, especially The Beatles. Predeceased by her twin sister Darlene, Debra leaves behind her husband Robert M Strempek, her sister Amanda Ferron, and many other family members and friends. Calling hours for Debra will be held on Thursday, July 24 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway Street, Chicopee, with a religious service beginning at 6:00 P.M. A burial will be held privately at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society nationalmssociety.org and Lewy Body Dementia Association LBDA.org
