Debrah Ann Mason

August 10, 1969 — June 30, 2025

Debrah “Debbie” Ann Mason of Holyoke, age 55, passed away on June 30, 2025. She was born on August 10, 1969, in Springfield to her late parents, George and Judy Brauer Mason. Debbie attended Holyoke Community College and worked for many years at General Cleaners. She loved astrology, reading, and going to the beach, and she passed her love of unicorns along to all her children and grandchildren. Debbie’s life revolved around her family. She loved her children, and her grandchildren who called her “Mima.” People really gravitated toward Debbie, she made them feel safe, welcome, and loved. When Debbie’s children were growing up and their friends would come over the house, they all referred to her as “Mom Dukes.” She’d always give a mama-bear hug to anyone who needed it. Debbie is predeceased by her parents, and her grandson, Angel Torres Jr. She is survived by her daughter Linda Nieves and her children Kayden, Catalina, and Andre, her daughter Jocelyn Nieves and her children Natalie, Evangelyn, Vangel, and Angelina, her daughter Sara Nieves and her children Lilith, Alyzé, Sapphire, Legend, Abram, and Harley, and her son Nickolas Mason and his children Nevaeh and Truce, as well as by her ex-husband Julio Nieves. Visiting hours will be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home at 159 Broadway Street, Chicopee on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 PM.
