Donald P. "Huck" Hebert

August 2, 1952 — March 10, 2023

Donald P. “Huck” Hebert, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023 after a long illness. Huck’s 2 sons, Jonathan P. and Jason D. were by his side when he passed. A son of the late Armand and Alice (Houle) Hebert, Huck was born and raised in Chicopee. He was married for 43 years to his beloved wife, Paula (Racine) Hebert who predeceased him on September 22nd, 2018. Huck was a graduate of Chicopee High School and became a master Pressman for Eastern Etching & Manufacturing, Ludlow Technical Products, and Tyco Products. Huck enjoyed spending time with his large extended family, friends, and rooting for the Sox and Pats. He was also an avid billiards player and won several local and regional tournaments with his local club. Huck is predeceased by his sister, Janet Lata. Donald is survived by Jason D. Hebert of West Springfield, Jonathan P. Hebert (Elayna) of South Deerfield, and his cherished granddaughter, Sofia K. Hebert. He also leaves his siblings: Mark (Elaine) Hebert, Daniel (Jean) Hebert, Dolores “Dee” (Thomas) Blackwood, Suzanne (Bill) Beliveau and Louise Hebert, as well as many nieces and nephews. FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL GATHER TO REMEMBER HUCK ON SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 2023 AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 159 BROADWAY ST., CHICOPEE FROM 8:30 TO 10:30 A.M. WITH A RELIGIOUS SERVICE AT THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke.
