Donald H. Kroeber

Donald H. Kroeber 1928-2015 Chicopee- Donald H. Kroeber, 86, of Chicopee, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Willimansett Center East. Born in Meriden, CT on November 5, 1928 he was the son of the late Edwin and Mildred (Hall) Kroeber. Donald served over 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, including the Korean War and Vietnam War, obtaining the rank Chief Master Sergeant. He retired from Pratt and Whitney after 29 years of service in both Connecticut and Florida. Donald leaves his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda L. (Leslie) Kroeber; his daughter Kathy Massoni-Fuss and her husband Fred; four sons, Kenneth H. Kroeber and his wife Bobbi, Lester G. Brinkley, Jr. and his wife Lee, Steven G. Morton and his wife Janet, and Todd L. Kroeber; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several cousins; and countless friends in both Chicopee, MA, Jupiter, FL, and Port St. Lucie, FL. He was predeceased by his son, Scott I Kroeber, and his first wife, Joyce (Jones) Kroeber. Donald will be greatly missed by all. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 3-7p at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2p in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St, Agawam.
