Doris L. Thibodeau

Doris L. Thibodeau 1926 ~ 2008   Chicopee - Doris L. (Cournoyer) Thibodeau, 81, a lifelong resident of Chicopee, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 10, 2008 in a local nursing home.  Born December 28, 1926 in Chicopee, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Deliska (Jolivet) Cournoyer.  She is survived by her brother Robert Cournoyer and his wife, Terry of Chicopee; sisters Claire Garlington of New York and Rita Cote of Chicopee; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth; son Allen; and brother, Raymond Cournoyer.  A funeral mass for Doris will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. Anne's Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doris' name to the National Kidney Foundation, 129 Morgan Drive, Norwood, MA02062 or American Diabetes Association, 306 Industrial Park Road, Suite 105, Middletown, CT06457.  Tylunas Funeral Home is serving the family.
