DuWayne A. Barker1958-2012CHICOPEE - DuWayne A. Barker, 54, died Tuesday, October 3rd at home. He was born in Holyoke on July 23, 1958, son of Angelina (Montemagni) and the late Kelley C. Barker.  DuWayne was raised in South Hadley and attended South Hadley High School. He moved to Chicopee in ¬¬¬¬¬1979 and worked as a route salesman for Freihofer and Wonderbread for 26 years. He was a fan of the Yankees and Miami Dolphins and also loved fishing and hiking with his family. DuWayne leaves his wife of ¬¬32 years, Patricia (Curry) Barker;  3 sons, DuWayne S. Barker and his partner Mary Hawk, Sam Barker, and Kelley Barker all of Chicopee; two daughters, Tracy Flynn and her husband Timothy of Chicopee and Katie Barker of Springfield; one brother Kelley Barker of Brimfield; two sisters, Linda Barker of South Hadley and Carm Barker and her husband Ron Pelk of Granby; seven grandchildren, Megan, Nathen, Jeremiah, DuWayne, Liam, Bella, and Brandon, and one niece Jessie. He also leaves his cat Keiser.
