Edith P. Balboni1922-2014Springfield- Edith P.  (Loncrini) Balboni, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August, 31, 2014 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Born in Springfield on May 13, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Eugenio and Roselia (Bonino) Loncrini. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry J. Balboni, in 1995 and her beloved daughter Jean D. Watson in 2012. Edith was also predeceased by her brother John Loncrini and her sister Enis (Loncrini) Bewsee. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and homemaker. Edith leaves her daughters, Joyce A. Tanguay of Belchertown and Joan A. Tanguay and her husband Robert of East Longmeadow; five beloved granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and very good friends who helped her through her last years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Springfield and a longtime member of Golden Agers Carew St. branch. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 9am at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 123 William St, Springfield. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, 1601 State St, Springfield. A calling hour will precede the services from 8-9am.
