Edward S Dupuis

Edward S. Dupuis 1917-2011 CHICOPEE - Edward S. Dupuis, 93, of Chicopee entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.  Born in Chicopee and a life long resident, he was the son of the late Edward and Flora (Munn) Dupuis.  Edward was a graduate of Bryant College, Class of 1936.  He was a purchasing agent for the former Uniroyal, Inc. of Chicopee retiring in 1979 after 34 years of service.  He was a communicant of the former St. George Church and was a member of the Chicopee Senior Center for many years. Edward was a loving husband and father. He was very dedicated to his family and would do anything for them.  Edward is survived by his wife of 67 years, Yvonne C. (Perreault) Dupuis; a son, Robert E. Dupuis and his wife Katherine of Vail, AZ; a daughter, Clarisse Y. Burnett and her husband Dennis of Agawam; four grandchildren, Eric, Nicole, Adam, and Sean and two great grandchildren, Camden and Nicholas. Funeral services will be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Aldenville.  The family will receive friends and relatives at a gathering at Tylunas Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
