Edward R. Mchugh

Edward R. McHugh1940-2015Chicopee- Edward R. McHugh, 75, of Chicopee, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield on September 29, 1940, he was the son of Edward J. and Lillian (Geoffrion) McHugh. Edward served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked as a sheet metal installer for many years. He was a member of the Eagles Club of Chicopee, the American Legion Post #420, and was a former member of the Tigers A.C. Edward was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and loved boating, fishing, and hunting. He leaves his loving wife, Marlene (Mutter) McHugh; his step-son, Michael Dion; two step-daughters, Debbie and Judi Dion; his sister, Marilyn Shea; three step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. Committal service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 11am in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main Street, Agawam.
