Elaine F. Merchant

Elaine F. Merchant, 75, passed away on July 29, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family, Elaine was born to Gerald and Irene (Bovin) Leroux of Wilbrahamin 1941. She attended Wilbraham schools, and worked as a patient care assistant for many years in the area. Elaine enjoyed the time she spent as a member of the Red Hat Society, Crocheting and playing bingo.  Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband William E. Merchant Sr. and a brother Donald Leroux. She is survived by her children; William Merchant Jr. of Northampton; Michael Merchant of Chicopee; Annemarie Merchant of Chicopee , Brian Merchant and his wife Pamela of Ludlow. Elaine will also be missed by her brothers; Robert and David Leroux of Fort Lauderdale; Roger Leroux and his wife Ann of Agawam; her 11 cherished grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Elaine's family will receive friends and family  at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway Chicopee on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 4PM to 7PM, a prayer service will follow at 7pm.
