Elizabeth Pieciak 1927 ~ 2007 SPRINGFIELD- Elizabeth (Gloster) Pieciak, 80, of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, died on Sunday September 30, 2007. She was born in Springfield on June 28, 1927, a beloved daughter of the late, James and Anna V. (Madden) Gloster. She was employed as a head teller at the former Shawmut First Bank on Memorial Drivein Fairviewand retired in 1985. She was predeceased by her son, Frank J Pieciak Jr., who died on December 14, 1989; her husband, Frank J. Pieciak Sr., who died on July 3, 1992, and her niece, Patricia A. LaRocque, who died on June 20, 1999. She leaves her children, Ann Allworth, PhD. and her partner Annie Ramsaur of Cheverly, Md., Mellie E. Ayers and her fiancé Bob Koivisto of Woronoco, Ma., Tebby Sliwa and her husband Mark of Chicopee, Stanley J. Pieciak of Indian Orchard, with whom she lived, and Timothy P. Pieciak and his wife, Johanna of Chicopee; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister in law, Veronica Gloster of Indian Orchard; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A funeral home service will be held on Friday October 5that 11 a.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Hadley St., South Hadley. Visiting hours are Friday prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the American Red Cross, 3500 Main St., Springfield, MA 01107.
