Elizabeth A. Renfrow

Elizabeth A. Renfrow 1929 ~ 2008   Chicopee - Elizabeth A. "Isabel" (Gorski) Renfrow, 79, passed away peacefully Monday, July 7, 2008 in Williamansett Care Center, Chicopee.  Born July 4, 1929 in Chicopee, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Ogorzalek) Gorski.  She married Donald Eugene Renfrow on February 23, 1952.  In addition to her husband of 56 years Donald E. of Chicopee, she is survived by her daughter Donna Burns and her husband, Robert of Langdon, NH; her grandchildren Alexis and Nicholas Burns; brothers Eddie Gorski of Hampden, MA; and Joseph Gorski of Cummington, MA; and several special nieces and nephews.  Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents; brothers Stanley and Joseph Gorski; and sister Helen Wojnicki.  Funeral services for Elizabeth will held on Friday, July 11, 2008 beginning at 10 AM from Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee with a Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 11 AM, in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Chicopee, with burial to follow in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.  Elizabeth's family will greet family and friends from 9-10 AM at the funeral home Friday.  Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Williamansett Care Center for the care and compassion received, and would prefer memorial contributions to be made in Isabel's name to the Williamansett Care Center -Physical Therapy Dept., 546 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA01013.
