Ellen L. Fitzpatrick

Ellen L. Fitzpatrick 1949-2005 CHICOPEE- Ellen L. Fitzpatrick, 55, died Wednesday March 9, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Springfield on June 7, 1949 she was the daughter of John L. Fitzpatrick, the former Superintendent of Chicopee schools, and Flora B. (Beauchamp) Fitzpatrick. A life long resident of Chicopee, Ellen was a communicant of St. Patrick?s Church, and she attended Chicopee schools, and graduated from the former Ursline Academy in Springfield, and also attended St. Josephs College in Vermont. She was employed for 30 years by the Chicopee Public Schools working with special needs children, and also worked for 18 years as a Hostess at Lucky Strike Restaurant, Chicopee, and had worked prior at Holyoke Day Nursery. Ellen is survived by her mother, Flora B. Fitzpatrick, of Chicopee, three sisters, Anna Marie Roque and her husband Bernard of Essex Junction, VT, Therese Phillips and her husband William, Sr. of Chicopee, Marguerite Trier and her husband James of Palm Harbor, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father John L. Fitzpatrick, and her brother, John L. Fitzpatrick, Jr. Funeral services will gather on Saturday March 12th at 9 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 319 Broadway, with Rites of Committal in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St. all in Chicopee. Ellen's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday March 11th from 3-6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John L.
