Elmer P. Gushue

Elmer P. Gushue 1915 - 2007   Springfield - Elmer P. Gushue, 91, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Heritage Hall South, Agawam.  He was born July 22, 1915 in Chicopee, the son of the late Percy and Christina (Birrell) Gushue.  Elmer is survived by his sons, John and his wife, Paula Tanzer-Gushue, and Richard and his wife, Judith; daughter, Jean Hiersche and her husband, Raymond; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Harold Gushue; brother-in-law, John Parks; and other relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his wife, Alice; sister, Gladys Parks; and sister-in-law, Irene.  A funeral service for Elmer will be held on Friday, March 30th, 10am, at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee with burial following in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee.  Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday, March 29th at the funeral home.
