Francis Muscolo

Francis Muscolo  1942 ~ 2009   CHICOPEE- Francis Muscolo, 66, of Chicopee, died Friday January 16, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicopee, the son of the late Frank and Monica (Trumbull) Muscolo. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Monica, and his nephew, Robert. He graduated from Chicopee High School in 1960. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963. He worked at Spauldings', the American Bosch, and as a draftsman for Mestek before his retirement. He loved to travel and play pool. He is survived by his loving companion of many years, Fran Thomas; his brother William and his wife Linda; his brother Robert and his wife Christine, all of Chicopee; and a niece, Marcy of Florida. His family would like to thank the staff of ICU at Mercy Medical Center for making his last days comfortable. A visiting hour will be held on Thursday January, 22, 2009 from 9-10 a.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee, with Rites of Committal and military honors to follow at 11 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
