Frank N. Stevens, Jr.

Frank N. Stevens, Jr 1942-2006 SPRINGFIELD- Frank N. Stevens, Jr., 63, of Springfield and formerly of Holyoke and Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Sunday February 5, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Holyoke on October 16, 1942 the son of Frank N. and Kathleen (Sheehan) Stevens, Sr. Frank was presently employed as a tool and die maker for the past 10 years at Popular Metal Products, Inc in Chicopee and was previously employed at the former Wico Electric in West Springfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War. Frank attended Holyoke and Springfield schools, and was a member and 3rd degree Knights of Columbus Council 4044 in Chicopee. Besides his parents, Frank is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sandra M. (Brown) Stevens of Springfield, his five children; Cindy Tourville of Chicopee, Hank Roux and his wife Selena of Illinois, John Roux and his wife Ann of Chicopee, Tammie Samson and her husband Troy of Springfield, and Chrissy Stevens of Chicopee, 14 grandchildren; Bill, Angela, Matthew, Luc, Katie, Nick, Kristen, Sherry, Sara, Paul, Carissa, Adam, Madison, and Mackenzie, two great-grandchildren; Lily and Luc, Jr., two sisters; Kathy Patterson and her husband Jack of Agawam, and Betty Stagnaro and her husband Frank of Springfield, his best friends; Rick and Ginger Dunphy of Chicopee, and many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by a son; Todd Roux in 1971. Funeral services will begin on Friday February 10th at 10:30 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 840 Page Blvd, Springfield, with Rites of Committal to follow at 1 p.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St. Agawam. Frank's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday February 9th from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to a charity of one's choice.
