George Getto

George William Getto, 80, died peacefully at Birch Gardens on Monday, May 23, 2016. George was born in Springfield to the late Frank Getto. He was the owner and operator of 391 Lounge since 1981. He is survived by his sons George Getto, Jr., Robert Getto and Steven Getto of Chicopee; by his daughters Donna Peterson and her husband Rick of Wilbraham, Lori Joslyn and her husband Michael of Chicopee; his siblings Frank Getto and Marilyn Broderick; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and was predeceased by his brother John Getto and a sister Ruth Gordon.  Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday May 26 from 4 pm to 8pm at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway in Chicopee. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday at St. Rose De Lima Church at 9:30 am.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Chicopee.   In George's, memory memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA. 02472.
