George R. Murray

George R. Murray 1932-2004 Springfield- George R. Murray, 71, died Sunday August 15, 2004 at Mercy Care Center in Springfield. Born in Chicopee on December 28, 1932 he was the son of the late George and Anunciata (Guertin) Murray. A life long resident of the Springfield area, George was employed for many years as a Baker at the former A & P Supermarket in Springfield prior to it's closing. A cousin James C. Murray and his wife Margaret A. of Holyoke survive George. Besides his parents, a brother, Roger D. Murray also predeceased him. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday morning August 19th at 11 a.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway Chicopee, with visitation preceding the service from 10-11a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 31 Capital Dr. West Springfield, MA 01089.
