George Francis Unwin Jr.

George F. Unwin, Jr. 1935-2010 GRANBY - George "Joe" F. Unwin, Jr., 75, of Granby, MA died suddenly at home on January 1, 2011. Joe was born in Springfield, MA on June 21, 1935 and was the son of the late George F. Unwin, Sr. and Alberta Mae (Somers) Unwin.  He was predeceased by his brother Richard.  George was a self-employed carpenter.  He previously worked at both Eastern Container and Unifirst Co.  He is survived by his wife Linda (Cronin) Unwin, his brother Larry Unwin and wife Joy of Belchertown, MA, his sister Karen and husband Dennis Baldger of Cape Coral, FL; a son Rick Unwin of Mims, FL, (5) daughters, Tiffany and son-in-law Michael Heath of Springfield, Denise Vaudrin of Springfield, Lisa Bernard of Southwick, Colleen and Cheryl Unwin of FL, (8) grandchildren and (4) great grandchildren. To his (3) special girls Brittany, Brianna and Brandy Heath - Pepa wants you to know he will always watch over you and love you forever.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either the Granby Police Relief Association or Granby Firefighters Association.
