Gerald L. Charron1956-2013Chicopee- Gerald "Jerry" L. Charron, 57, a lifelong Chicopee resident, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on August 24, 1956, a son of Evelyn A. (Gordon) Charron of Chicopee and the late Leo D. Charron. Jerry graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1974. He retired as the manager of American Window Cleaners and had worked prior at Milton Bradley. Jerry was a member of the Tiger AC for many years. He loved to play Pitch and Cribbage and was an avid sports fan of the NY Mets, NY Giants and NY Rangers. Jerry was also an avid fan of wrestling. Besides his mother, Jerry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Diane E. (Baker) Charron; a brother, Roger A. Charron; a chosen brother, George Breault, all of Chicopee; several aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was also predeceased by his beloved faithful companions, Brandy and Ashley. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at 11 a.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., with Rites of Committal and burial to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., both in Chicopee. Visitation will precede the services on Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
