Gerald P. Lafleur

Gerald P. Lafleur 1938-2009   Gerald P. Lafleur, passed away at the age of 71, in the loving presence of his family at his home on Sunday, October 4, 2009.  Born in Holyoke and resided in Chicopee for most of his life.  He was the son of the late Joseph and Edna Lafleur. Gerald is survived by his wife Geraldine of 48 years, (2) sons, Jesse Lafleur of Tamarac, FL; Neil  Lafleur of Chicopee; (2) sisters, Rena Sullivan of Holyoke, Lorraine Dutton of Springfield and (3) grandchildren, Jenny Andraca, Brandon Lafleur and Abigail Lafleur. Gerald was a retired forger at Stormes Forge of Springfield. He was a communicant of Assumption Church of Chicopee and served his country in the National Guard for several years.  A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Gerald's life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Assumption Church, Springfield St., Chicopee at 11 a.m.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice 1236 Main St., Holyoke, MA  01040.  For Guest Book:tylunasfuneralhome.com
