Gerald D. Landry 1945-2013 Chicopee- Gerald "Shakey" D. Landry, 68, of Chicopee, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at home. He was born in Chicopee on January 19, 1945 to the late Emilien J. and Yvonne M. (Pelletier) Landry. Gerald was a graduate of Chicopee High School and worked for Spaulding/Callaway for 45 years retiring in 2008. Gerald served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a past communicant of the former St. George Church in Chicopee.  Shakey really enjoyed fishing and playing pitch. Gerald loved his sons very much and especially adored his grandchildren. He leaves his loving wife Diane (Theriault) Landry; two sons Greg and his wife Debra of Feeding Hills, and Mark and his wife Nicole of West Springfield; three brothers Roger, Norbert, and Phillip; two sisters Anita Nowak and Evelyn Coutu, all of Chicopee; three grandchildren Abbie Wellspeak, Seth and Austin Landry; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St., Agawam on Friday, May 24th at 9am for Rites of Committal. Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 23rd from 4-7pm from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Donations may be made to Baystate Hospice 280 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01199.
