Harold Arthur Gushue

CHICOPEE- Harold A. Gushue Sr., 94, a life long Chicopee resident, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at home. Harold was born in Chicopee Falls on January 26, 1917. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Springfield. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Irene C. (Marcil) Gushue on March 5, 1998; and a sister, Gladys Parks. Harold is survived by his daughter, Deborah M. Boucher and her husband Robert of West Springfield; a son, Harold A. Gushue Jr., and his wife Millie of Warren; a granddaughter, Marcil J. Boucher; a brother-in-law, John Parks of East Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. Harold's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering on Tuesday, March 22nd from 4-7 P.M. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:45 P.M. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's memory to Shriners' Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
