Heather M. Murty                                                      1975 - 2007   SPRINGFIELD---Heather M. Murty, 32, a life long resident of this city, died suddenly and unexpectedly Tuesday at Bay State Medical Center.  Born and educated in Springfield, Heather was the daughter of Margaret (Lamoureaux) Murty and the late Roger Murty, who died in 1992.   Heather worked as a kidney dialysis technician at the Western Massachusetts Kidney Center in Springfield for the past four years and was an avid reader. Besides her mother Margaret of Springfield, Heather leaves a sister, Hollie Placzek and her husband Matthew of Chicopee, a brother Scott Tassanari and his wife Tammi of South Carolina, her fiancé Felix Colon, Jr., of Springfield, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.   Funeral services Monday, November 5th, 2007 at 8:45 am from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, followed by a mass at 10:00 am in St. George Church, 7 Belcher St., Chicopee.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield.  Visiting hours at the funeral home are Sunday 4-7 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Western Mass.
