Helen Estelle Bozek

October 17, 1930 — September 28, 2023

CHICOPEE-Helen E. Bozek, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning. Helen was the last surviving child of nine, born to Frank and Rose (Zielinski) Rosinski in Granby, Ma on the family dairy farm. She attended local schools and was one of the first switchboard operators for Granby Telephone Co. She later worked at Spaulding in Chicopee. She married her beloved husband Marian in 1955. Her real love was being a homemaker. She and Marian enjoyed 41 years of love, family, and happy memories together. She was a devoted communicant of Holy Mother of the Rosary, Polish National Church in Chicopee where she was active with Sunday school, Lutnia choir and Ladies Adoration Society. Helen enjoyed working in her yard and loved her shopping trips. She leaves her children; Christine King (Dr. Ted) of Hampden, Frederick (Linda) of Westfield, Stephanie Fontaine (Bob, deceased) of Westfield and Helene Bozek (Joe) of Chicopee, five grandchildren Adam, Jonathon, Greg, Victoria, and Elizabeth, and 3 great grandchildren Steven, Elyse, and George, and many nieces and nephews. Helen also has an extended family and many friends that loved and knew her as “Babcie”. C

ALLING HOURS AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME, 159 BROADWAY ST., CHICOPEE WILL BE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2023 FROM 9:30 TO 11:00 A.M. A FUNERAL MASS WILL BE CELEBRATED AT 11:30 A.M. AT HOLY MOTHER OF THE ROSARY CHURCH, 20 BELL ST., CHICOPEE. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Ladies Adoration Society, c/o Holy Mother of the Rosary Church, 20 Bell St., Chicopee.
