IRENE H. PISKORSKI, 82, of Circle Drive in Chicopee passed away peacefully at Baystate Medical Center on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Born Irene H. Paciorek on December 26, 1938 in Chaumont-en-Vixen, France, she was the daughter of Joseph and Marianne (Biniek) Paciorek. She immigrated to the U.S. with her father and siblings in 1952. They settled in Deerfield and she attended Deerfield High School. Irene married Bruno S. Piskorski in South Deerfield at St. Stanislaus Church on July 2, 1960 and they moving to Chicopee to raise their family. Irene worked for SuperBrush in Chicopee for many years and had previously worked for Rexnord in Springfield also. Irene loved to cook for family and friends, her family recalls the Kitchen was like her second job, she was especially known for her delicious potato salad. She also enjoyed gardening and many meals were directly from her large and bountiful garden. Irene loved knitting, and family and friends were the lucky owners of many of her beautiful Afghans. She loved fishing especially at Lake Champlain in Vermont, where many wonderful and cherished memories of family vacations were had there. Irene was proud of her Polish Heritage enjoying the traditional music, dancing and recipes. Her most precious times were those spent with her family. She was a devoted communicant of the former St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee and recently a member of the parish family of Ste. Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville. In addition to her dear husband Bruno and her loving parents, Joseph and Marianne, Irene was predeceased by her siblings; Jeanne J. Ragan and Marie Therese Paciorek. Irene leaves her three children; Richard with whom she made her home in Chicopee, Thomas J. Piskorski of Chicopee and Stanley Piskorski and his wife Carol of Granby. Her three beloved grandchildren; Stanley Jr. and his wife Kristi, Eric Piskorski and Thomas (TJ) Piskorski. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Marie Wickline of Turners Falls and her brother Gerard Paciorek and his wife Nancy of South Deerfield. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved very much. Calling hours will be on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 o'clock noon at St. Rose de Lima Church, Grattan St., Aldenville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Irene's memory may be made to Ste. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA.
